JEFF WALL Chapter 2の展示が、先日終了しました。
振り返ってみると、作品をきっかけに自然と会話が生まれたり、そこから新しいつながりが広がったりと、
サロンという場所で作品を楽しんでいただけたことを、とても嬉しく感じています。
そして、このたびJEFF WALL Chapter 3の準備が整いました。
今回展示するのは、フィンランドのアーティスト、Sini Pelkki（シニ・ペルッキ）さんの作品です。
作品が変わると、サロンの空気が大きく変わるものですね。
今回も、JEFFの空間がいつもとは違った表情になっています。
髪を整える時間と一緒に、作品との出会いも楽しんでいただけたら嬉しいです。

JEFF WALL Chapter 2 recently came to an end.
Looking back, we’re very happy to have seen the artwork naturally spark conversations, create new connections, and become part of the experience here at the salon.
And now, we’re ready to welcome JEFF WALL Chapter 3.
This time, we’re featuring the work of Finnish artist Sini Pelkki.
It’s interesting how changing the artwork can subtly change the atmosphere of the same space.
Once again, JEFF has taken on a slightly different expression.
When you visit, we hope you’ll take a moment to enjoy the artwork at your own pace.
We’d be happy if, alongside your time of getting your hair done, you also find a new connection with the artwork.
SINI PELKKI
Sini Pelkki is an artist working with photography, film and installation. She is interested in the subjectivity of the gaze, the limits and possibilities of seeing. Body, spatiality and movement as well as spaces within spaces and the lives they inhabit, matters visible and invisible to the eye. Recent years her work has moved towards different kinds of collaborations and interactions that have taken shape in photography, moving image. Recent films include Present, 2024 (distributed by AV-arkki), Departing Shadow (2021), Is All (2021) and Sheet No4 (2018). Sini Pelkki received BA (Hons) Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art and Design in 2002 and MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts Helsinki in 2008. Pelkki received the William Thuring designated prize in 2014 and The Finnish Cultural Foundation’s Uusimaa award in 2025.
